Run-on Sentences and a Yo-Yo Ball

Throughout college, I left many of my photos, albums, and other items from my childhood at my parent’s home. I wanted to keep these items but just didn’t want to move them every year that I switched apartments while in college. Now that Brandon and I have bought a house of our own, I figured it’s time to clean out my old room at my parent’s (considering we’ve been in our house now for 2 years). I’ve just started this project and, of course, I started with gathering my old photo albums and scrapbooks. It’s been so much fun going through each album and reminiscing about the “good ol’ days”.

In one of the scrapbooks, I found this letter I wrote to Santa when I was in the first grade. I showed it to Brandon and we laughed until we cried. Probably because I was so skilled in the ways of spelling, and naming so many things that your eyes go crossed, and being slightly ADD (ooOOoooo, something sparkly!) and….not to mention my ability to write an entire letter to Santa in two sentences…..oooh, the run-on sentences.:)

Ok, so glanced through some of your past posts that I had missed and just read this one. Was certainly entertaining to see your wish list, but especially enjoyed the fact you asked for Baby Got Back on CD and a Bible in the same letter. Pretty much sums you up Katie! Ha!ReplyCancel
