Childhood Unplugged | Indianapolis Family Photography

I’m not a tech-y person. I’m not an early adopter of technology, and typically discover things years after it’s been deemed as the next best thing by society (sidenote: I feel like there’s been a huge rush to Snapchat recently, and I have yet to get on board).

With that being said, I’m a big fan of Instagram. It’s my favorite social media platform. While a lot of people are up in arms about the whole algorithm change in how posts will be seen (instead of following the current chronological based feed), I’m choosing not to focus on that. I have a feeling it will all work out, and if people want to see my photos, then they’ll find them.

I could write an entire post about some of my favorite accounts to follow, but for today, I want to share one with you: Childhood Unplugged (@childhoodunplugged). This feed is full of children and families playing, laughing, discovering, and just being. It’s simply perfect and focuses on the right things in life.

As mentioned on the website:

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” – Fred Rogers

This account has encouraged me to capture more photographs of our kids learning thru playing, and I’m grateful for that.

Indianapolis Family PhotographerWatching these two together has been so much fun. They share a sweet friendship…most of the time. 😉2016_mar_-1082016_mar_-1272016_mar_-1752016_mar_-189
